Online dispute resolution
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you can turn to alternative dispute resolution. In Romania, the competent authority for consumer protection is the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), which oversees the alternative-dispute-resolution (SAL) bodies for consumer disputes.
Until 20 July 2025 the European Commission operated an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumer disputes. That platform has since been shut down under EU law and is no longer available, so please use the national alternative-dispute-resolution (SAL) route above. We will confirm our participation status with the competent body at launch.
